Founded in 1920 in Alian District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, the Chin Fei Feng Marionette Theatre Troupe has been passed down through four generations (Hsueh Pu, Hsueh Chung-Hsin, Hsueh Ying-Yuan, and Hsueh Yi-Yang), maintaining a century-long legacy. It is the only professional marionette theatre troupe in Taiwan, excelling in religious and cultural performances. Active both locally and internationally, the troupe is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional marionette theatre.

For many years, Chin Fei Feng has been involved in art education, instructing puppet theatre clubs in local schools and achieving excellent results in national creative drama competitions.

Under the leadership of Hsueh Ying-Yuan, the troupe combines traditional and modern performance styles. They perform nationwide and have been invited to international art festivals in the United States, Hungary, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Japan, China, Canada, Spain, India, and Germany, receiving high praise.

Today, the third and fourth generations work together to promote their marionette theatre legacy. They blend traditional concepts with modern theatre, expanding Taiwanese marionette theatre from religious ceremonies to performing arts, giving it a new dimension and elevating it to the realm of art theatres.
